Gaga did a quick about-face and released a statement on Wednesday to PerezHilton.com.
“I consider it part of my life’s work and music to push the boundaries of love and acceptance. My apologies for not speaking thoughtfully. To anyone that was hurt, please know that it was furiously unintentional. An honest mistake, requires honesty to make,” she said.
“Whether life’s disabilities, left you outcast bullied or teased, rejoice and love yourself today.”
These days, fans can’t get enough Gaga, and there is more of her to come. On May 7, HBO will air her Madison Square Garden concert from her Monster Ball tour. And her rep told ABC News Radio on Wednesday that she will perform for the season finale of “Saturday Night Live” on May 21, just two days before her “Born This Way” album is released.
